Tour - Day Seven

Number One
Bums
It turned out the part of San Francisco we were staying in is a hub of hobo-life in the city. I awoke with bold ambitions of finding a great inner-city cafe for breakfast, only to find the most recommended one was closed on Tuesdays. This seems to be because Tuesday is dole day, which also means it's meth/heroin day and there are bums out in force in both numbers and volume in the cafe's vicinity. I was a bit bummed.

Number Two
Pier 39/More Seals!
After my hobo experience I met up with the boys and we made our way to Fisherman's Wharf and Pier 39 to check out the views of the Bay Harbour, Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge. It was a cold, windy but refreshingly beautiful day. I indulged in some of the infamous Clam Chowder and spent a while watching some more seals who were hanging out near the pier. Clams and seals are a great combo.

Number Three
Waterstrider
One of the bands that we played with here was awesome - Waterstrider. Amazing musicians and great live energy. They sound like a mix of Yeasayer and Fleet Foxes to me...hopefully they like those comparisons haha. But check them out here - you will like if you like the comparisons! http://waterstrider.bandcamp.com/album/constellation
